An intentional misspelling took the main headline today!

The main headline today (Palace: No Merci in Bolante probe. ‘Removing Gutierrez an option’) seems to simply say that the Ombudsman is part of the evil empire of former President Arroyo. Arroyo -1.

The other news in the Inquirer Front Page today:

After 5 years of inquiry, Ombudsman says Lorenzo, Bolante liable for graft - is a continuation of the main headline. Although this time, more space is given to the interview with a spokesperson of the Ombudsman, it still generally gave the Ombudsman and her evil master negative treatment. Arroyo -1.

Back to 1st choice: Robredo to DILG - is not just about Robredo but some of the other recent appointments, which threw some questions on the wisdom of the choices. Aquino -1.

‘Automated mystery’ case: Roxas files protest - generally a report coming from the Roxas camp's point of view. Roxas +1.

‘Little President’ abhors spotlight - an interview with Exec. Sec. Ochoa turned out neutral for the President.

New AFP plan vs Reds stresses human rights - a positive treatment on the AFP, not necessarily the same for the President. AFP +1.

LTO chief is Aquino shooting partner - merely says that the new LTO chief is a good choice. Aquino +1.

Br. Luistro ready to talk sex (ed) - this time a positive Luistro giving himself positive coverage by the mass media.

There are two other news in the front page today, about sports (basketball and the world cup), that did not touch on any national personality.

The scores today:
Roxas: 1
AFP: 1
Aquino: 0
Arroyo: -2
