While forgetting that the new President had a gung-ho approach of removing people from day one, and it seems not evident to everyone that the President need not appoint everyone to all positions himself, the Inquirer Front Page today headlined the problems encountered by Aquino in getting "good" people.


The main headline today (Aquino hard-put to fill 5,000 top gov't posts) took the President's side on why there are still many appointments needed to be made. Defeated presidential candidate Sen. Gordon is also given space today as the person credited for the success at Subic. Aquino +1. Gordon +1.
