The main news today (Probers eye police fire in deaths. ‘Victims not shot at close range’) is a report on the possibility that some victims were not shot by a bullet coming from the hostage taker. PNP -1.

- a press report of an interview with the President that although mildly put by the paper seems to show President Aquino digging his own grave. Aquino -1.

Aquino admits receipt of insulting HK letter - more report that tries to absolve the President and which many Filipinos would see that way, but in reality digs his grave deeper. Aquino -1.
