Politics remain today on the Vice Presidential race.. while President Arroyo still gets negative treatment.

The main headline is about the chief justice appointment (Arroyo: Corona is next Chief Justice. His credentials OK but President’s act scored) where of course the President was scored mainly on the title.. - the news seem neutral though..

The other news on the front page are as follows:

Aquino urges Arroyo to reconsider chief justice appointment - is mainly an Aquino press release and therefore beneficial to him. Aquino = 1

Vote-map: Aquino takes even Estrada country - this news is factual although the topic itself benefits Aquino. It seems to give the incoming President a mandate. Aquino = 1

Across nation: Arroyo son wins in Bicol; other Palace men fall - another factual report on who won where and basically neutral.

Binay hits fraud try; Roxas awaits Visayas votes - the news content is only a little bit going for Binay, but the title plays to Binay's press release. So I judge this one as going for Binay. Binay = 1

‘Mar didn’t quite catch yellow fever’ - is a news on what went wrong for Roxas. It is definitely negative for him including his wife who now is published to be a smoker. Roxas = -1

COMMENTARY. Wave of yellow votes so massive, sinks rivals - this is a commentary by who now seems to be an Aquino supporter, Amando Doronila. It simply gives Aquino the high marks and says he's got a huge mandate. So again, Aquino +1

Kris in crisis: Bon voyage party online - is a news about an online party shooing Kris Aquino away (to make good on her promise). The news is negative to Kris Aquino of course and perhaps by extension to Noynoy. So Aquino = -1

A few days after the elections, the front page is still in love with Sen. Noynoy Aquino, but ready to subject him (or his sister) to ridicule, while the same seems to have been dumping his runningmate. The score goes:

Aquino = 2
Binay = 1
Roxas = -1
