Estrada accepts Corpus apology - This is a curious report on the acceptance of the former President of an apology of a former ISAFP head. Note that readers are not appraised of any apology prior to this and in fact uninformed of any issue that has brewed behind the supposed 10 year old report. While Corpus apologized to Estrada for a supposedly wrong claim, there is no similar apology directed at Lacson who is also implicated in the same claim. Also, while Corpus apologizes, the paper regrets (not apologize) the printing of the supposedly wrong report. The news report also pointed out that Corpus is working then for former President Arroyo. De Lima's IIRC report is largely disregarded by her own boss, the secretary still looms as triumphant for having one of her committee's report, only that one which is politically questionable. Although the report gave the side of the office of the Ombudsman small space which questions the motive behind the order, the report still is majority supportive of Malacanang's statements.
