Even when there is no new news about the Ombudsman, the Phil. Daily Inquirer Front Page took them again to the center of its reporting today.

Aquino irked with piers, bus terminal but NAIA OK - the President puts government offices on its toes to prepare for any contingencies. Aquino +1. MMDA +1. PNP +1. AFP +1.

‘Bad Catholic’ Aquino to go on Visita Iglesia with sisters - a report that looks like a press release from the President. Aquino +1.

PH ‘invaded’ Spratlys in 1970s, China tells UN - a little bit of an escalation of conflict between the Philippines and China on the issue of the Spratly's.

P1.3-B vets office here, only facility outside US - a report on the US facility in the Philippines panders to its local workers and beneficiaries. USA +1.

Cecile Licad debut in Moscow: ‘Awesome’ - the Philippines' premier concert pianist given due space in the front page today with a curious bit of comment from the Vice President. Binay +1.

Royal wedding packed with ordinary people - a report on the guest list of the upcoming Royal wedding in London made it in the front page.

The scores:
Aquino: 2
USA: 1
Binay: 1
MMDA: 1
