The headline (Police tag Pilapil’s companion suspect. Missing woman’s many lies revealed) is an update on a more than a week old crime with a delayed realization as to who is the suspect.

The other front page news reports today are as follows:

Suspension of mining urged; death toll rises to 8 - with deaths happening around, there seems to be no one responsible while the Church is given space for it stand against mining. Catholic Church +1.

Crame now historical site due to EDSA I - a report on a camp that figured in EDSA 1, which recalled former President Ramos famous "jump". Ramos +1.

Viet refugee’s cross Bataan’s tribute to John Paul II - a feature on the Pope who would soon be beatified, and his brush with the people from the Bataan Refugee camp about 3 decades ago. Catholic Church +1.

Vidal: End Church-Palace dialogue on RH bill, it’s futile - although the title of this report seems to have come from the Catholic Church, it actually gave President Aquino and those pushing for the RH bill some good space. Aquino +1. Catholic Church -1.

Ramos: ‘3Rs’ could lick corruption in military - the former president weighing in on corruoption in the military. Ramos +1. AFP -1.
