The story on Morong 43 amidst the photo of a Belen hugs the Phil. Daily Inquirer Front Page today.

The headline (‘Morong 43’ finally free: Trillanes, Garcia await release order) is a report which says its title is wrong, with only 23 of the Morong 43 in raised fists are freed. Although the release of the other "health workers" are expected to follow, there are at least five others who may still be detained for other reasons. The paper called the Morong 43 as mere "health workers". This report is leaning more on the left than on the military side, although the latter is given some dwarfed space for its views. AFP -1.

The other news today:

HK wants 100 PH witnesses to testify - the President is safe from any negative treatment in this news report about the August 23 hostage taking.

Mikey Arroyo hits critics; SC under fire - the report that gave space to more interviews on those questioning the SC and the Arroyos. SC -1. Arroyo -1.

Arroyo ‘disappears’ from new P200 bill - the photo of former President Arroyo being sworn in after People Power 2 became smaller, a report that did not show any negative treatment to the former President and in fact posted a question to the Central Bank for revising to a smaller photo her presence in the 200-peso bill.

Sandigan frees general facing plunder charges - looked like the Sandiganbayan is blamed for the release of a general accused of plunder, although it was the "government prosecutor" (from which office is not clear) who went for the plea bargain, making sure the President is totally safe from any negative opinion. Upon checking, our monitor learned that the prosecutors were from the office of the Ombudsman. Sandiganbayan -1. Ombudsman -1.*

Filipinos served drinks in wild Saudi party - a report on a wikileaks leak on a US cable on parties in Saudi Arabia, involving Filipino bartenders.

‘Steady Eddie’ romanced the media - a report on former President Ramos, who proved to really be media savvy. Ramos +1.

NINE-DAY YELLOW SALUTE. Evolution of Inquirer front page - is a report by the paper on itself. Inquirer +1.

The scores:
Ramos: 1
Inquirer: 1
Arroyo: -1
SC: -1
AFP: -1
Ombudsman: -1*
Sandiganbayan: -1*
