The Phil. Daily Inquirer Front Page seems to hit two birds in one stone via its main headline today.

The headline (FR. ROBERT REYES SAYS. ‘Arroyo is untouchable’. President, Cabinet advised: Get smart) is a he-says-she-says report getting full exposure as if it is real news, where the paper picked the opinion it most likely want raised. Arroyo -1. SC -1.

The other news today:

‘You cannot stop truth from coming out’ - a continuation of the main headline, on the same theme, using the same style, again picking as title the opinion it want established. Arroyo -1. SC -1.

SC leaks ruling: Truth body illegal - the position of the paper again is revealed through the selection of the title, the same line used by the administration on the news as a "leak" by the Supreme Court itself, no matter how absurd the insinuation. SC -1. Arroyo -1.

Catfight erupts over Lacson hunt: Rosebud vs Sandra - a side story on the supposed serious hunt for Senator Lacson by the Aquino administration. Aquino +1. Lacson -1.

PAL union says 80% of workers vote to strike - The President getting in the center of the labor dispute in PAL shows the President's concern with labor. Aquino +1.

Doctors, bishops agree: Life begins at fertilization - The bishops got some support from doctors as to the definition as to when life begins in the womb. Catholic Church +1.

TELLING THE FILIPINO STORY TO THE WORLD. Prepare for war, Palace warns Sandy - what supposed stuff the paper is made of, being able to stand up to the President, while the same report ironically withholds to protect some people. Inquirer +1.

WikiLeaks founder surrenders - an AP report on the plight of the wikileaks founder.

The scores:
Aquino: 3
