A story on fishkill took the centerstage of the Phil. Daily Inquirer Front Page today.
The headline ('Bangus’ industry in crisis. 7 towns around Taal Lake under calamity state) gave the administration and some departments space to say what they are doing on the crisis happening on a fish industry. Aquino +1. Robredo +1.
The other front page news reports today are as follows:
Smuggling raps filed vs car trader, 5 others - Even when smuggling has been shown rampant, the BoC is seen to be doing its job. BoC +1.
Robredo orders Ampatuan guns inventory - Sec. Robredo given premium space on his take on the Ampatuan gun inventory. Robredo +1.
Village guard living in slum area claims P365-M Grand Lotto prize - someone won the lotter.
‘Let PH be unique in world vs divorce’ - gave space for the Catholic Church this time on the issue of divorce. Catholic Church +1.
Brunei rolls out 43 luxe cars for Aquino, et al. - there was supposedly an economic benefit to the President's visit to Brunei but the paper found the kinds of cars the President's convoy took while being driven there as more important. The report gave recall though of the President's supposed love for cars. Aquino -1.
The scores:
Robredo: 1
Catholic church: 1
BoC: 1
Aquino: 1 -1 =0
